Summary: A documentary/artistic survey of the Salton Sea, a toxic lake located in Southern California. Born out of a flood in the 20′s, the area enjoyed a brief period of success as a resort destination in the 50′s. Today, it is an ecological disaster that stands at the crossroads of many environmental, industrial and economic issues. Life still exists on the shores of the Salton Sea, but it is the beautiful decay of the area that draws me to it.
