Summary: In 2005, a former student told me that she had a dream that I was shot in my office on the campus where I teach. Classes were cancelled and a police tape stretched across the doorframe. Blood was everywhere. She was hesitant to tell me of the dream. While it was unsettling, I was also intrigued at the specific imagery and possible symbolic meanings of the dream.
I began collecting appearances of myself in the dreams of others. Dreams shyly emerged, placing me in a variety of roles. This book project explores six of those dreams joined with my visual reinterpretations, examining both the fluidity of identity as well as the confluence of dreams.
