Summary: I’ve been wondering a lot about relationships and its associations with photography, especially with instant film. The ten images available in a pack of 4×5 instant film were the only images with which I limited myself. These represented opportunities to somehow define a relationship, with family members, women, friends, and others who I could never say to them plainly what I wanted to say. Only ten chances to “get it right.” The background for this project is rooted in Walker Percy’s 1966 novel “The Last Gentleman.”
