Summary: “Speaking of Names,” is an artist book collaboration by photographer Christopher Gianunzio and designer Jenny Tondera. The material for this publication was sourced from a weapons technology and world astronautics periodical produced during the late 1950s and early 1960s. The images — portraits of scientists, evidence of technology testing, and product shots — are at once familiar and odd when taken out of context and structured in this new narrative.
